Anonymous icon critique meme

Do you ever wonder if there's something that you could improve with your icons, or have you ever wanted to tell someone that there's one thing that they do phenomenally, but you're afraid to leave a comment logged in? Do you just want a no-risk place to get icon concrit from, without the stress of a lims or applying to a community?

∀Comment with your username, and the journal you post your icons at. Post 3-10 icon samples, so those who aren't the most familiar with your icons can give you some opinions too.

∀Pimp to your journal.

∀Reply to people's samples anonymously (or if you absolutely have to be contrary, logged in). Anonymous comments have been enabled and IP logging has been turned off.

∀Try to be polite. Wank is not the name of the game here, so try to leave the sort of comments you'd like to receive.

	I think you do the "washed-out" look on your icons (5 & 9) very well. There's not much I can say about them really - the only one that bugs me is the last one, in which you can see the red square and the black background. I don't know if that was intentional, but that's really the only negative thing I can think of. Great job. :] (Reply to this) (Parent)

	I love that you don't use text on every single icon like some makers. I like the natural coloring - sometimes it's a bit orange, such as on 6, but it still doesn't look terrible. The gradient on number 8 is a little bothersome, but not too insanely so. Overall, i like the simple look. :) (Reply to this) (Parent)

	Love them! The bright oranges, muted blues (esp. in #3), and contrast with blacks. Great coloring. #4 though seems a little boring - maybe spice it up with a texture on the side? And in the last one it's impossible to tell what's going on except that there's a sideways face at the side. Other than that...shakes head I am totally in awe of your coloring. 	I'm so stealing 8 (illyria was my first username :P) You're cropping is really beautiful (3, 8, 9). I like the fact that you have different coloring styles (I hate when people stick to just one), they're soft, dark, full of light and warmth. 	the icon samples you posted here are hardly a representative sample of your work since all you seem to post are icons on the exact same subject, you should either diversify your subject or bill your icon spot as a robin hood community as opposed to a pan-bbc community (Reply to this) (Parent)(Thread)(Expand)

	I think your cropping is fantastic - I love how close up the icons are, and how sharp you got them to be without looking too sharp (if that makes sense). I don't really have any criticism, lol.. (Reply to this) (Parent)
